Over the years the chart has expanded from an original Top 10 to a Top 30, published every Saturday and used by radio broadcasters and the Country Music industry across Australia.
Today, most of Australia's leading Country Music radio programmers still contribute weekly reports and the CT30 is still the most widely used radio airplay chart in Australia.
A full display version (featuring each artist's chartography) is available here on CMR's web site (each Friday evening). The chart is also distributed widely throughout the Country Music community.
The chart was created because of my interest in chartography. Now 20 years later I've extracted some fascinating information and I'm very pleased to present a comprehensive review of the 1040 charts that tell the story of probably the most exciting time in the history of Australian Country Music..
