Since the 1970s Australians have been able to choose to have marriage and funeral ceremonies conducted by Civil Celebrants rather than have formal religious ceremonies.

The main benefit of all the civil ceremonies is the freedom to create a celebration that is unique and individual to you.

Some time ago I became very interested in the role of the Civil Celebrant and decided to pursue this interest in 2007 when I undertook a number of courses to become qualified.

Now that I am not tied to the radio studio at the weekend I am available to conduct a variety of ceremonies including marriages, renewal of wedding vows, partnership and commitment ceremonies, child name giving and funerals. 

Amongst the services I offer is access to resources that will ensure you have the ceremony you want.
I can help source special readings, music and rituals you wish to include in your ceremony.

Each ceremony is fully planned and rehearsed, providing support for all those participating in the ceremony.

The Marriage Ceremony is the only one with official requirements and documentation.
The documentation pertains to the criteria required by the Government to permit both parties to marry with a specific requirement that a marriage cannot be conducted less than a full calendar month after the completion of the formal notice of intended marriage.
Together we can satisfy the official requirements during the planning and preparation of the ceremony.

I have inclusive fees for each of the ceremonies I conduct. 
The fee includes meetings, planning and construction of the Ceremony,
presentation of the Ceremony, provision of certificates and a written copy of the Ceremony.
I provide a PA, a ring bowl or cushion and certificate signing table.
Additional fees will arise for:
>special music preparation and compilation
>an audio recording of the Ceremony
>long distance travel / accommodation (and other costs)
>assistance with special documentation (visas / court papers)
>and other additional services agreed upon.
